The application process
Get ASPA Endorsed
ASPA is a professional association designed to endorse courses that have significant performance analysis and/ or data science curriculum content. These typically include a diverse range of sport and non-sport related undergraduate courses that can prepare students for roles as sport performance analysts or sports data scientists The Association of Sports Performance Analysts (ASPA) Undergraduate Endorsement Scheme (ADES) recognises undergraduate courses that equip students with the essential knowledge and skills to enter the profession as sports performance analysts or sports data scientists.
When reviewing a course, ASPA considers the curriculum, the practical experience gained by students and the resources and facilities of the institution.
Endorsement criteria
To gain ASPA endorsement, applicants must demonstrate that an undergraduate degree satisfies the criteria outlined in the ADES Application Guidelines which is structured around the following 8 sections:

Within the application form, applicants are required to provide a brief narrative explanation of how the course meets each of the specified criteria and reference the documents (e.g. module descriptors) that provide supporting evidence.
